Senior Accountant / Confirmed Accountant

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations , including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings

Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial statements with applicable accounting standards (IFRS / International GAAP)

Prepare financial reporting packages for management and group consolidation purposes

Support internal and external audit processes

Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and performance monitoring

Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to support management decision- making

Monitor accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation

Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company procedures

Work effectively with international subsidiaries and finance teams across different countries

Support intercompany accounting activities and reconciliation processes

Ensure consistency of accounting practices across entities

Contribute to finance transformation and optimization projects

Ensure accurate use and optimization of ERP systems (SAP, Sage, or similar)

Participate in ERP improvements, implementations, and process automation initiative

Maintain data quality and support users on accounting systems

Profil recherché We are looking for a candidate that has :

Master's degree (Bac +5) in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or equivalent qualification

5 to 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably within an international or multinational company

The successful candidate will be responsible for m anaging accounting operations, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards

Supporting financial reporting processes , and providing accurate financial analysis to support business decisions

Strong technical accounting skills, experience working with multinational organizations, excellent analytical capabilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a multicultural environment

Strong knowledge of IFRS and International GAAP standards

Strong experience in financial closing, reporting, and accounting analysis

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP Business One, Sage, or similar solutions

Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)

Personal skills :

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and manage priorities

Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at different levels

Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment

Proactive mindset with strong ownership and commitment to continuous improvement

Knowledge of German or Spanish would be considered an advantage
