Duties
You will Exercise administrative and technical supervision over subordinates assigned to the Executive and Support staff and Administrative Division.
You will review work products of subordinates and accepts, amends or rejects work.
You will establish performance standards and evaluates performance of employees.
You will gives advice, counsel and instruction to individual employees on both technical and administrative matters. Interviews candidates for positions in the division.
You will carry out Equal Employment Opportunity policies and communicates support of these policies to subordinates.
You will manage and oversee all program functions assigned to the Executive Support Staff and Administrative Division.
You will serve as a secondary advisor to the Detachment Director, monitors the implementation of policies and guidance, modifies and makes recommendations to adapt guidance to local situations.
You will initiate actions in such areas as job and duty restructuring, assessment of training needs and use of details to provide improved employment and advancement opportunities for all personnel.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrates ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary administrative and operational programs, such as security, emergency management, public affairs, or civilian human capital. Experience includes directly supervising a professional staff, assigning work, and evaluating performance, as well as independently formulating and executing divisional budgets. Collaborating with senior leadership and external stakeholders to resolve complex organizational challenges and make strategic, independent decisions to align program goals with mission requirements, within a maritime, shipyard, or industrial military environment.
